What is the difference between single origins and blends?

  • Single origins: Single origins are a great option for coffee connoisseurs or the ambitious; these coffees are sourced from a single country, region, or farm. Single origin coffees offer specific flavors that are particular to the region in which the coffee was grown. However, because of this, novice coffee drinkers may find single origin coffees somewhat bland or boring. Single origin coffees are often seasonal and may have limited availability.

  • Blends: Blends are ideal for everyone. Coffees from multiple origins are hand-picked by the roaster to offer a complex, layered, and well-rounded cup of coffee that everyone can enjoy.
